Popular Indian Ghazal singer Jagjit Singh has recently suffered brain hemorrhage on Friday the 23rd September and has been admitted in Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. The doctors who are attending to him have said that his condition is critical.
Singh was reportedly rushed to the hospital, after which an emergency surgery was conducted by the doctors. The 70-year old singer is now kept under observation. The Ghazal singer is accompanied by his wife Chitra Singh.
On Saturday night, Jagjit was supposed to perform at a concert in Mumbai, India. While on Friday night, the singer was supposed to perform with the fellow singer Ghulam Ali from Pakistan at the Shanmukhananda auditorium. Later on, one of the representatives of the concert that was organized by Fever Entertainment had said that after the sudden hospitalization of Singh, singer Hariharan will be performing in his place. Jagjit Singh is known for some of his popular Ghazals like, ‘Mere Naam Ka Koi Aur Hai’, ‘Meri Zindagi Kisi Aur Ki’, ‘Hoshwalon Ko Khabar Kya’ and many such masterpieces.
