Kaka shines as Real ease past Ajax
Real Madrid have cemented their leading position in the group D with a 3-0 win against Ajax Amsterdam whom Jose Mourinho’s side defeated last night on Santiago Bernabeu.

Karim Beznema closed the victory with a third one scored early in the second half. With Jose Mourinho in the stands, Real managed to dominate the game, giving the former European champions no chance to break through.
Ajax’s first big opportunity came in the 15th minute when Casillas denied De Jong’s dangerous shot at the death. A couple of minutes later Benzema could have put his name on the score board, but the French striker finished it poorly. Carvalho was the first Ral player to pick a yellow card, the Portuguese being cautioned in the 19th minute for a foul on Sulejmani.
Vermeer made a couple of saves in the 22nd minute, denying both Ronaldo and Ozil. Ne minute later Ronaldo finish could have brought the visitors an own goal, but Vermeer managed to keep the goal safe. Arbeola played Kaka who served the French on the edge of the box from where Karim put it home past his mark and the keeper. Coach Frank de Boer answered with a quick change, replacing Janssen with Enoh.
Casillas made a great save in the 60th minute following a dangerous action finished by Eriksen at the near post. The same Erikesen looked for the same near post three minutes later but it was Casillas to provide yet another providential save. Kaka missed his biggest chance in the 66th minute when the Brazilian finished a superb work with Ozil just wide in what should have been a fourth one for Real.
Ajax introduced Lorenzo Ebecilio for Sulejmani in the 73rd minute, while Real replaced both Kaka and Karim Benzema with Angel Di Maria and Gonzalo Higuain respectively. Newly arrived Varrane saved his side from a first goal after blocking Vertonghen with a perfect tackle.
