The second term went scoreless for both sides, while the next four belonged to the visitors who powered through to a three point mini rally which also secured them a 3-2 lead at the end of the sixth inning. At first Norris hit a sacrifice fly to center and Barmes cut the deficit to one point and then Johnson hit a sacrifice fly to center allowing Altuve to level the score with Bourgois getting to third.
The two sides kept their sheet clean in the fifth round, but the sixth one saw the same Astros go one point ahead of their opponents through Lee who established a 3-2 minimal advantage after Barmes singled to center.

Unfortunately for the hosts that was their only momentum of the game. Cleveland managed to set a six point run in the sixth and eighth innings, which allowed them stay in touch with the clear win until the end. Chisenhall hit yet another 417 foot homer and Santana made it 4-2 in the sixth.
Moreover, Carrera singled to left and Marson extended the lead to three points with Crowe getting to third and the same Career getting to second. Fukudome then singled to right allowing both Crowe and Carrera to make it 7-2 in the same inning.
After a seventh inning drought, Indians got one more point in the eighth one when Carrera doubled to center for Crowe’s last point of the meeting. On the other side, White Sox could only score a couple of more consolation points. Ramriez grounded out to second as Beckham made it 3-8, while Viviedo closed the meeting, scoring the fourth one for Chicago.

On the other side, Royals are second from the bottom in the Central with a .411 record which incorporates 60 wins and 86 losses. The defeat to Seattle was their third in a row, sixth in the past ten games and 47th on the road.
St. Louis Cardinals 4 – 3 Atlanta Braves
Yesterday’s game between Braves and Cardinals needed ten innings to provide the winner. After an electrifying start which saw the two sides score three points in the opening term, the next seven went scoreless for both.
McCann doubled to center and Bourn brought the first lead for Atlanta, while Freeman doubled to left for McCann’s first point of the game. St. Louis broke back immediately through Furcal who cut the deficit to one point after Holliday grounded out to third. The scoreboard remained unchanged until the ninth inning when Braves made it 3-1 thanks to Richerdson who apparently scored a winner for the visitors.
Unfortunately for the visitors, Cardinals cored a couple of more points through Punto and Furcal when counted the most, pushing the meeting into an extra term. Finally, St. Louis continued and managed to set the pace further in the meeting, scoring the winner in the tenth round through Ho0lliday who gave his side a the hard fought victory after Punto hit a sacrifice fly to center.
St. Louis are second in the Central Conference with a .535 record which keeps them seven gamesback behind leaders Brewers and which includes 77 wins and 67 defeats. The victory over Atlanta was their third in a row, seventh in the past ten games and 39th at home.
As for Braves, they are also sitting second in their Conference, 11 gamesback behind leaders Phillies, with a .579 percentage featuring 84 wins and 61 defeats. The loss to Cardinals was their sixth in the past ten games and 33rd on the road. They also have plenty of chances to secure a playoff berth.
Los Angeles Angels 2 – 1 New York Yankees
Angels stunned Yankees last night at the Angel stadium where the hosts edged the East leaders thanks to a second half comeback. Montero brought New York an early lead after hitting a 429 foot homerun in the third inning, which also was their only momentum.
LA broke back in the fifth term through Bourjos who evened the situation after Kendrick singled to right, and even scored a winner in the last inning. Izturis hit a sacrifice fly to center allowing Moore to give their side a big win against the favorites.
