Bosotn beaten by Rangers, fall deeper

Minnesota Twins 1 – 4 Baltimore Orioles
Orioles captured an easy win lat night at the Target Field despite a slow start which saw them held in the third term. The victory over Twins was their third in the past ten games and 19th on the road. As for Twins, they remain second from the bottom in the Central with a .433 percentage featuring 55 wins and 72 losses, the defeat to Orioles being their seventh in the past ten games and 34th at home.
Colorado Rockies 9 – 5 Houston Astros
Rockies eased past Astros last night at the Coors Field where the hosts scored their first seven points in a row, six of which within the first term. Young Jr. and Fowler were the first to put Colorado into the lead as they propelled their side towards a two point quick advantage in the first inning after Gonzalez doubled to right.
Helton then singled to center as Gonzalez made it three, while Helton brought a 4-0 lead after Ellis reached on infield single to first in the same term. Finally, Wigginton and Iannetta made it six after Chacin doubled to center in the last play of the round. But still, Colorado would score yet another point in the second one through Gonzalez who hit a 412 foot homerun, the first of the meeting.
Astros’ first reply came in the fourth term through Bogusevic who also hit a 412 footer, cutting the deficit to six points. Rockies were then put into an eight point advantage through Helton and Ellis who scored the last two points for Colorado in the eighth term.
Finally, the ninth round saw Houston score four more points, but it was too late as they lost the game very easily. Colorado have improved their season record to .473 which includes 61 wins and 68 losses, the victory over Astros being their third in a row, sixth in the past ten games and 33rd at home where they have finally switched .500.
Concerning Houston’s route, they remain foot of the table in the Central table with a .328 record, the worse in the league, which includes 42 wins and 86 defeats. The loss to Rockies was their second in a row, sixth in the past ten games and 44th on the road.
Pittsburgh Pirates 9 – 2 Milwaukee Brewers
Pirates stunned the leaders Milwaukee with a comprehensive win last night at the PNC Park where the visitors managed to go 2-0 ahead of their opponents early in the game, but never managed to keep the same pace. Hart opened the meeting with a .410 foot homerun, while Fielder grounded into fielder’s choice to second for Morgan’s second one minutes alter.

St. Louis Cardinals 1 – 2 Los Angeles Dodgers
Dodgers edged Cardinals last night at the Busch stadium where the visitors scored their both points in the last term of the meeting. St. Louis grabbed their first lead in the second term and managed to keep it until the last moment. Berkman hit a 432 foot homerun in what seemed to be the winner for Cardinals who were stunned by a late comeback.
