The T20 practice match between India vs Leicestershire will be played at the Grace Road, Leicester on August 29, 201. The T20 match is scheduled to begin at 14:30 local time, 13:30 GMT, 7:00 p.m. India time. See Live Score.
This is the third practice match for India in this England tour of 2011. The first two matches matches, which were ODI’s have been won by India. The first one was against Sussex and the second one against Kent.
India which is already injury hit and a few of their top players being already gone back to India, they recieved yet another bad news with opener Gautam Gambhir being ruled out of the first T20 International against England which will be played on August 31, 2011.
The Indian team, for the first time in MS Dhoni’s captaincy suffered a series loss abroad with a 4-0 whitewash. The Indian would like to show a better performance against the all charged up England side in the ODI series.
Indian captain MS Dhoni opted out of the net session ahead of the practice match to watch his favourite football team Manchester United destroy Arsenal by 8-2 at Old Trafford on Sunday
